FINDING THE RIGHT AGENT
Who is the best real estate agent
in Orange County for you?
CHOOSING THE RIGHT AGENT
The best real estate agent is the one who is right for your move.
There are thousands of real estate agents in Orange County, and experience alone doesn't tell you whether someone is the right fit.
The best agent for you should understand the market you're navigating, communicate in a way that works for you, know the contracts, pay attention to the details, and be willing to tell you what you need to know, even when it isn't the easiest answer.
HOW DO YOU CHOOSE?
What should you look for in a real estate agent?
Buying or selling a home is a big financial decision. Before choosing who represents you, look beyond the marketing and ask how they actually work.
-
There's no magic number of years or transactions that automatically makes someone a good agent. Look at the type of experience they have and whether it's relevant to your situation.
Ask about recent transactions, the types of clients they've represented, the price points and areas they've worked in, and their experience handling contracts, negotiations and problems when a transaction doesn't go according to plan.
-
Orange County isn't one real estate market. Pricing, housing types, taxes, HOAs, insurance considerations, schools and buyer demand can vary significantly between cities and even between neighborhoods.
If you're buying or selling in a specific area, look for an agent who understands the details that can affect both the transaction and the property's long-term appeal.
-
You should know what's happening, what comes next and when you need to make a decision.
A good agent should be responsive, explain complicated information clearly, communicate proactively when something changes and be comfortable having candid conversations when there are risks or tradeoffs to consider.
-
Negotiation is about much more than price. Terms, contingencies, timing, credits, repairs, competing offers and unexpected issues can all affect the outcome.
Ask an agent how they approach negotiations and listen for actual strategy. Strong negotiators should be able to explain how they evaluate leverage, protect their client's priorities and adapt when circumstances change.
-
From offer to final handshake, we handle every detail with care—negotiating favorable terms, coordinating documentation, and ensuring a smooth, timely closing that exceeds expectations.
-
Look beyond the star rating. Read what clients actually say.
Patterns matter. Repeated comments about communication, negotiation, responsiveness, problem-solving, attention to detail and advocacy can tell you much more than a generic five-star review.
Past results can provide useful context too, but numbers alone don't tell the whole story. Look at the types of transactions an agent has handled and whether their experience is relevant to what you need.
WORKING WITH JESSICA
What I bring to the table.
I've represented buyers and sellers throughout Orange County, from competitive purchases and complex transactions to relocations and home sales that required careful strategy, preparation, and negotiation.
My background in transaction coordination gave me extensive hands-on experience with California contracts, disclosures, contingencies, deadlines, and escrow. Combined with representing my own clients, it's given me a strong understanding of both the big decisions and the details that can shape a transaction.
I'm highly detail-oriented and proactive. I pay attention to what could become a problem before it does, communicate clearly, and stay closely involved from beginning to end. When something gets complicated, I'm comfortable digging in, figuring out what needs to happen next, and advocating for my client.
01 Experience
I've represented buyers and sellers through the full transaction, from property research and pricing through offers, negotiations, inspections, disclosures, and closing.
My experience includes competitive purchases, listings, relocations, investment properties, and transactions that required significant problem-solving along the way.
02 Contracts
I have strong working knowledge of California real estate contracts, disclosures, contingencies, deadlines, documentation, and escrow, supported by transaction coordination experience and formal training.
This combination helps me understand how the pieces of a transaction fit together and where details can become problems if they’re missed.
03 Local Knowledge
I've lived in Orange County for more than 20 years, including Irvine, Costa Mesa, Newport Beach, Laguna Beach, and San Clemente.
That firsthand experience gives me context for how different areas compare in housing, location, lifestyle, development, and the practical considerations that don't always show up in a listing.
04 Continuous Learning
I regularly participate in training on California contracts, legal and industry changes, negotiation, market conditions, technology, and evolving real estate practices.
I also hold the ABR® and SRES® designations, along with certifications in transaction coordination and negotiation. I actively test new tools and systems to determine what can genuinely improve the way I represent clients.
